Finally got to process the first image. I now need to spend a lot more time learning how process those Fits Files. I will have another go at a reprocess and see if I have learnt anything. 30 frames, 420sec, 30 darks, DSS, Startools ( I will spend more time in Star tools I think)

My next attempt. This time I did not deviate to much from the default RGB colour biases of the image. I increased the saturation some what to bring out the colour. It looked a bit bright after i saved the image so the brightness was adjusted in Gimp then saved as Tif and jpeg (for web). On close inspection i think i have some dust donuts as well.

But Wait! - there's more! There are to many variables and subjective decisions to make. My next iteration of NGC5128.

Is this one you prepared earlier? ☺️ That's much better. You should be very happy with this.

Still tryng to get the most out of Star tools etc. Still using the original images take a while ago. Process this time : PIX (Blink), DSS (Stacked 13 420 sec Lights and Darks)< Startools ( Auto dev full, Crop, Bin 50%, Wipe (Using a Mask), Dev (Redo Global Stretch), Decon (using Mask), Sharp, Contrast, HDR, Colour (reduced Green a smidge, reduced Saturation to about 100%) , Denoise, Save (TIF and jpg) The final noise reduction is amazing! I think the detail is now starting to be teased out?
